Sometimes the best thing you can do for a yard is strip it back and start fresh. That's exactly what this New Boston property needed. Rock beds that had seen better days, overgrown and dying bushes, loose gravel spread into areas it didn't belong - it was a lot going on, and none of it was working together anymore.

We pulled everything out. The rock, the bushes, the old landscape fabric underneath - all of it gone. Once the beds were cleared, we moved into the dirt work phase, grading and prepping the soil so the ground was actually ready to support new grass growth. Skipping that step is where a lot of DIY attempts fall short. If the ground isn't properly prepared, seed just doesn't take the way it should.

After the grading was done, we brought in fresh topsoil and laid it across the cleared areas. Good topsoil matters more than most people realize. It gives the seed the nutrients and moisture retention it needs to germinate and establish strong roots. We finished it off with a quality grass seed mix suited for the conditions on this property.

The end result is a clean, open lawn where a cluttered rock bed used to sit. No more fighting weeds through gravel. No more patchy spots where nothing would grow. Just a solid base for grass to fill in and take over the way it should. It's one of those jobs that looks simple on the surface but has a lot of steps done right underneath.

We handle this kind of work regularly in New Boston and the surrounding areas. If you've got a rock bed, old bushes, or a section of your yard that just isn't working, this is exactly the type of cleanup and lawn restoration we do.
